This Tigerbark Ficus Bonsai Tree is potted in a beautiful shiny royal blue rectangle traditional Bonsai pot with drainage holes. It measures 10" x 8" x 3" tall.  The tree is 17" tall from the soil line and the leaves span 16" from side to side. It is top-dressed with red lava rocks to accent the bright blue color.  This tigerbark is a one-of-a-kind with the double trunk and multiple drop roots. 
 
The Tigerbark Ficus is also known as a Ficus Retusa or Golden Gate Bonsai Tree. It gets the name tigerbark due to the grey to reddish bark dotted with small, horizontal flecks, similar to tiger-like markings.  The oval leaves are small dark green and alternate up the stem. It is one of the most tolerant, versatile and trouble-free bonsai trees for indoor use. It grows fast and lends to pruning more often.  A great tree for the Bonsai art enthusiast.
